What you need to know

Register via FoodTrader (foodtrader.vic.gov.au). Annual Food Act registration, valid calendar year, paid by 31 December. EHO inspection required for new mobile food businesses. SOT required via FoodTrader at least 1 business day before each event. Trading on Council land requires a separate local law permit. The Meredith and Golden Plains Music Festivals are hosted in this LGA — these are privately organised events with their own vendor selection processes; Council registration is still required but site access is managed by the event organiser (Meredith Music Festival).
