Register via FoodTrader (foodtrader.vic.gov.au). Annual Food Act registration, valid calendar year, paid by 31 December. EHO inspection required for new mobile food businesses. SOT required via FoodTrader at least 1 business day before each event. Trading on Council land or in national park and Crown Land areas requires relevant additional approvals (Parks Victoria or DELWP) — contact the relevant authority early as lead times can be long. Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale and Metung are the most active food-truck locations. Covers Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Orbost, Omeo, Mallacoota areas.
