TWO PROCESSES: (1) Food Act registration via FoodTrader (foodtrader.vic.gov.au) — annual, paid by 31 December. EHO inspection required for new vehicles. Contact Business Permit Support on 9243 8866 to determine your classification and fee. (2) Mobile Food Vehicle Permit (Local Laws) — required to trade on any Council road, park or reserve under Community Amenity Local Law 2018. Apply via Mobile Food Vehicle Permit Application form at mvcc.vic.gov.au/mobile-food-vehicle-permit-application. Council's Mobile Food Vehicle Policy and Guidelines available on same page. SOT required via FoodTrader at least 1 business day before each event. Covers Moonee Ponds, Essendon, Ascot Vale, Kensington areas. Contact: council@mvcc.vic.gov.au or 9243 8888.
