Med/High Risk 6–50 handlers: $535/yr. Low Risk: $106/yr (packaged/coffee). Markets/Temporary Events per annum: $77.50. Charities/non-profits: $77.50. Inspection fees (all GST-free): Low risk: $77.50/visit. Med/High risk: $208/visit. Re-inspection: $127. Improvement Notice (s180 Food Reg 2025): $565. Certificate of Clearance (s185): $500. PUBLIC LAND (S68 + daily booking, confirmed July 2026 from MFV page): Section 68 approval one-off: $358. Daily booking fee per trading day: $169. Mobile Food Vending Policy adopted July 2024. TWO-STEP process: (1) Register as a food business with Council via Online Self Service portal (wollongong.nsw.gov.au → "Operate a Food Business"). (2) Apply for Section 68 approval via NSW Planning Portal to trade at Council-approved public locations (beaches, parks, walking tracks, sporting grounds). A daily booking fee also applies for each trading day at pre-approved locations — book via Council system after receiving approval (email Notice of Determination to mfv@wollongong.nsw.gov.au). PLI must be $20M noting Wollongong City Council as interested party with CTP Gap Coverage Endorsement. Vehicles max 2.5m wide. Vehicles 7.5m+ require separate Road Occupancy Permit.
