FEE STRUCTURE (2026-27, confirmed from Wagga Wagga City Council Fees & Charges 2026/27 PDF, items 1129-1131): ANNUAL ADMINISTRATION CHARGE FOR FOOD SHOP (GST-free): $250/yr (up from $245 in 2025-26). Charity and Community Organisations exempt. Applies to all food businesses including MFVs — no dedicated MFV line in schedule. FOOD SHOP INSPECTION FEE (GST-free): $235/hr charged pro rata, minimum 30-minute charge. RE-INSPECTION FEE (GST-free): $235/hr charged pro rata, minimum 20-minute charge. HEALTH INSPECTION FEE (excluding food, GST-free): $320/hr, minimum $145. PUBLIC LAND MFV PERMIT (separate from annual admin charge): Wagga Wagga operates a CAPPED permit system under Mobile Food Vendors Trading in Public Places Policy (POL 062). Maximum 20 permits active at any time. Permits are 2-year terms, issued via Expressions of Interest. PLI $20M noting Wagga Wagga City Council as interested party (CTP Gap Coverage Endorsement also required). Operating conditions: 6am-10pm only; no alcohol/cigarettes/non-food products; max 4 hours at one location; must move 200m and wait 4 hours before returning; no trading within 200m of an open food business or event.
