What you need to know
Mobile food vending and food stall registration required before commencing. TWO TYPES: (1) Temporary Food Stalls — apply at least 10 business days before event (confirmed from council website July 2026). (2) Mobile Food Vendors — vehicle must be presented for inspection prior to approval; apply online at pmhc.nsw.gov.au or in person at Port Macquarie, Wauchope or Laurieton customer service centres. Private land trading under SEPP Exempt and Complying Development permitted subject to landowner consent, 1 vehicle per site max, 7am–7pm residential zones. SOT lead time: 10 business days confirmed.
