What you need to know

FEE STRUCTURE (2026-27, confirmed from Lane Cove Delivery Program and Operational Plan 2026-27, pp.188-190): Annual food business administration fee: $508/year (≤5 FTE food handlers — applies to virtually all mobile vendors). No dedicated mobile/temporary vendor fee line — standard FTE-based fee applies. Inspection fee: $294/hour (minimum 30-minute charge = $147). PUBLIC LAND TRADING: Mobile food vending on Council footpaths/public spaces: $87/day (separate daily public space occupation charge, up from $84/day in 2025-26). Footpath occupation on annual per-m² basis also available (high demand Lane Cove Plaza/St Leonards: $357/m²/year) — these rates are for fixed outdoor seating/displays, not MFV day-rate trading. SOT required per trading location. Food premises registration form available on Council website. Events in Lane Cove Village or parks may require separate park booking approval.
