THREE APPROVAL TYPES: (1) Annual Selling Food at Events Approval — valid 12 months (financial year), allows trading at any approved event on private or public land in Camden LGA with event organiser permission. Apply via Selling Food at Events Application Form online at camden.nsw.gov.au/payments-and-forms/forms-a-z/selling-food-at-events-application-form-online-2. (2) Single Event Selling Food at Events Approval — per event only; use same form. (3) Public Road Trading — separate application for selling food from public roads; form at camden.nsw.gov.au/payments-and-forms/forms-a-z/selling-food-at-events-application-form-online-2. Cobbitty Markets vendors: use the simplified Cobbitty Markets Temporary Food Stall Notification Form. Food Safety Supervisor required for high-risk food. Covers Camden, Narellan, Oran Park, Leppington, Harrington Park, Cobbitty areas — fast-growing SW Sydney corridor. Contact: 02 4654 7777. FEE STRUCTURE (2026-27, confirmed from the ADOPTED Camden Council Fees and Charges Schedule 2026/27, adopted 9 June 2026 — Health Inspections section, all GST-free): Food Trading Stall Annual Event Approval: $193 (up from $188). Food Trading Stall Single Event Approval: $112. Food Trading Public Roads Approval: $355 (up from $346). Food Premises/Business Annual Administration Fee: $50.50 (up from $49) — charged IN ADDITION to the trading approval, so budget for both. Level 0 low-risk food business inspection (up to 1 hour): $153 (up from $149). Level 1 medium and high-risk food business inspection (up to 1 hour): $193 (up from $188). Food Trading Stall Reinspection: $83.50. Additional kitchen on same premises: $112. Shop fitout pre-commencement inspection: $193; reinspection $112. Section 68 Activity Application for Community Land: $413. Food Act Improvement Notice administration (statutory): $565. Food Act certificate of clearance: $500. Public Health Act re-inspection of premises subject to a prohibition order: $255/hr. NOT-FOR-PROFIT school canteens and charities pay $0 admin and $0 inspection — but reinspection and Improvement Notice administration/statutory fees still apply. Council adjusts fees by CPI each 1 July.
