FEE STRUCTURE (2026-27, confirmed from AlburyCity 2026/2027 Fees & Charges PDF): FOOD BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION FEE (per annum, GST-free, Not-for-Profit exempt): Franchises and Supermarkets: $650/yr. High/Medium Risk Food Premises: $450/yr. Low Risk Food Premises: $230/yr. Invoices issued in September each year. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES ON PUBLIC LAND — MOBILE FOOD/DRINK VANS (GST-free, EOI-based, up to 200 hours per month, all fees non-refundable, max licence 12 months): Up to 1 month: pro-rata based on length of time and nature of activation. 1 month: $513. 3 months: $1,375. 6 months: $2,500 (or 2x3-month instalments). 12 months: $4,200/yr. Fees do not include access to infrastructure or services. Apply via alburycity.nsw.gov.au/forms/commercial-activities-on-public-land — in response to AlburyCity Expressions of Interest only. STREET VENDING ON ROADS ACT (GST-free): Site Rental: $110/sqm/annum. Footpath Dining: $85/chair/annum. Application fee (Street Vending, Footpath Dining and Markets): $140/application. Street Advertising (A-Frame Signs): $110/sign/annum. FOOD PREMISES INSPECTIONS (GST-free): Low Risk: $140/inspection. High/Medium Risk: $244/inspection. Re-inspections: Low Risk $140, High/Medium Risk $244. Food premises status report (no inspection): $164.50. Improvement Notice (Food Reg 2025): $565. Certificate of Clearance (Prohibition Order, Food Reg 2025): $500. EVENT FOOD VENDORS (incl. GST): Commercial site: $79.50. Community groups: free. FOOD BUSINESS REGISTRATION PROCESS: Apply at alburycity.nsw.gov.au/business/permits-and-approvals/food-and-drink. Food business must pass satisfactory EHO inspection before handling food for sale. Admin fee invoiced in September annually. BORDER NOTE: Albury directly adjoins Wodonga VIC — vendors trading in Wodonga need separate VIC FoodTrader registration and Wodonga Council SOT.
