FEES (confirmed from City of Fremantle Fees and Charges 2026/27): Annual Unique Food Vehicle licence: $661/yr. CAPPED EOI/WAITLIST SYSTEM — NO ROLLING LEAD TIME: Fremantle does not have a standard application processing window. Seasonal trading spots open via a 2-month Expression of Interest (EOI) window twice a year. Outside EOI windows, vendors are placed on a managed waitlist until a spot opens. There is no point applying outside an EOI window — join the waitlist and wait to be invited. EVENTS AND MARKETS: While waiting for a permanent spot, you can trade at Council-approved events or recognised markets — contact event organisers directly. WA food registration (garaging council) is one-time and does not renew annually. IMPORTANT: Fremantle is a high-demand, competitive market.
