FEES (2026-27, confirmed from City of Unley Fees and Charges Schedule 2026-27, STREET TRADERS p.12, effective 1 July 2026): Annual mobile street trader permit $552 (GST-exempt, up from $536); monthly $56 (was $54); per-day on-street public events rate $20.50 (was $19.65). Street trading table licence $9.70/day. Display of goods on footway/roadway $77.50/yr. A separate Section 221/222 application fee of $69.70 applies for authorisation to alter a public road or to obtain a Permit for Business Purposes (p.17). These are Street Traders / Section 222 fees. IMPORTANT: Food business notification for Unley is handled by the Eastern Health Authority (EHA) — not directly by Unley Council. Submit your Food Business Notification at eha.sa.gov.au before trading. LOCATION RULES: Unley has adopted Mobile Food Vendor Location Rules under Section 225A of the LGA 1999. Vendors must comply with these rules. Community land (parks, reserves) requires a separate permit — the Section 222 permit only covers public roads.
